
Homemade turkey meatballs with parmesan and garlic, served over spaghetti with a side of green beans.
Ingredients
- 6 lbs ground turkey
- 1 cup egg whites
- 1 ½ cups breadcrumbs
- 1 ½ cups parmesan cheese
- 6 whole garlic cloves
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅕ cup milk
- ⅕ cup olive oil
- 2 whole onions, diced
- 4 whole garlic cloves, minced
- 2 28-ounce cans crushed tomatoes
- 2 28-ounce cans whole tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ⅕ teaspoon salt
- ⅕ teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups red wine
- 1 pounds spaghetti
- 1 bag fresh green beans

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a large mixing bowl, combine all meatball ingredients except the olive oil.

Roll 75, 1.5-inch balls and lay out on several oiled pan sheets.

Place pan sheets in over and cook for 45 minutes (at least until cooked to an internal temperate of 165°F).

Once baked, remove from oven.

In a large pot, heat some olive oil over medium-high heat and cook the onions and garlic until the onions are translucent.

Stir in remaining tomato sauce ingredients and cook over medium heat to combine.

Add the meatballs to the pot and stir gently into the sauce.

Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes.

Allow to cool. Store in large container(s) and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Drain excess water and rinse with cold water. Store in large container(s) and refrigerate until ready to serve.
